Grades 5 and 6
Where we are:
1. Identify Problem
2. Come up with possible solutions
3. Make a scale drawing
a. Detailed
b. Labeled
4. Purchase a small log book--- this can fit in your pocket... no bigger than composition size. Log everything you do here. If you interview people-- initialize.
5. Search (document in log book):
a. Do an internet search of at least 5 places that would specialize in your invention (Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc.). See if you see your invention. Is your invention original? If not, what innovation can do to make it better?
b. Personally speak to at least two professionals that your invention might help.
6. Scamper!
